Had the pleasure of shooting P. David Ebersole’s author photo for his upcoming book “99 Miles From L.A.”
We have photographed P. David and Todd Hughes since moving to Palm Springs many times: for our PS Portrait Series, Palm Springs Life Magazine, Ebersole-Hughes Company promotional photos, and other assorted, incriminating circumstances, and we were very excited by this assignment to capture the subject in a noir/chiaroscuro style.
“99 Miles From L.A.” will be published by Pelekinesis May, 2022.
Check it out.
Photographed Anne and her “Standing Tall” installation at her gallery.
Amazing.
Check out our other portraits of people.
Top cat Milo at ThomBoy/PSL shoot yesterday.
The tail tells all.
Behind the wall in this beautiful home we shot on Yosemite, Indian Canyons, Palm Springs.

Just another beautiful day?
Make it even better- get out and love it.

Still life with bentwood chair…
If you know us, you know we are visually motivated.
And you know that we don’t just go for the obviously beautiful.
Projects like “Last Resorts” and “Beautiful Ruins” attest to this fact.
Here is a current example of our wide range of visual pleasures.
Moody, dark, and a narrative that is not a Coke commercial.
So… enjoy our many complicated flavors.
On the bike and wheeling through Deepwell Estates on a crack Monday under a diffused sky.
One last Mesa moment, this one tucked into the hillside, with eastern views of the valley.
Happy Sunday.
In The Mesa.
Hard by the San Jacinto Mountains west of S. Palm Canyon Drive, The Mesa is a surprising oasis of disparate visual pleasures.
Usually you can find us wheeling around on our bikes, grabbing shots and saying hello.
But after this season’s tests of fortitude, we’ve slowed it down and have taken to walking.
Seeing, hearing and feeling the world around us.
Letting the shots reveal themselves.
We find a calm that is greatly needed.
Our advice?
Unplug and take a walk.
And don’t forget the shadows without which everything is just flat and boring.
