EIGHTY!

The thrill of reaching PS Portrait Project number 80!

Thanks to Jen and Kemble Walters.

“This was an incredible experience! It’s always a good time when you jam “sex pistols radio” and everyone on set is rocking out! Being fairly new to the desert, this experience just reminded us of how magical this place is and how it brings people together in its own unique and creative way!” Jen + Kemble

It’s Not All Portrait Project…

While it might seem that our PS Portrait Project takes up all our time, the fact is we juggle a number of clients and projects seven days a week.

Meet Victoria Starr, whom we recently photographed for her new website and promotional materials. We also work with interior designers and architects, restaurants and chefs, as well as travel and leisure stories, in addition to the other personal projects we have going.

Alas- we do not shoot weddings or real estate, which is fine by us.

Final Two Days

Last chance to see the first 70 portraits at Desert Island Country Club!

It’s open to the public, just tell them at the gate you’re going to the Clubhouse.

Thank you to everyone we’ve photographed for The Project, without you- well, you know. Thanks to Melissa Morgan for connecting us with Miguel Nelson- a match made in paradise. Thanks to on the ground support Jake, Dan, Scott, Tony Brown, and the restaurant/bar staff at The Penney and Chef Jon Butler. Special shout-out to Mollie Kimberling- great shots!

What a blast!

Photos Are More Than A Capture

Photographer and PS neighbor Marco Franchina came by the compound for coffee the other morning.

We got to talking about projects and in particular, our PS Portrait Project.

Marco asked to shoot us in the style of the project and days later, presented us with a print.

Thanks neighbor, we love it.

And you too.

Off to get it framed…

Opening Night

What a night!

If you were there- you know- you were part of it.

Thank you everyone at Desert Island: Miguel Nelson, Jake Bachman, Dan Einzig, and the rest of the bar and restaurant staff. Thank you Melissa Morgan for introducing us to Desert Island. Shout out to Tony Brown- artist, tech, and all ‘round great guy for assisting with the installation. Thank you Mollie Kimberling for taking photos of the guests- you knocked it out of the park. Of course we wouldn’t be here without everyone who said yes to being in the project and to you we bow. And a great cheers to all the people who came out to see the show, the venue, and have a ball with us.

One last thing: Yes! We are continuing to shoot more subjects for the project!
