Beautiful Ruins - Southeast
When on assignment while living in the Southeast, we often drove the back roads, taking the long way, getting lost in the region, camera at the ready.
Nature in the South is a hungry beast; kudzu grows about one foot a day and will eventually pull a house down.
The rain and humidity attack the wood while insects and animals do their part in the slow destruction of property.
We fell in love with the beauty of it all.
