Sweet ride. Great people.
Owen Officiating the wedding of Tara and Jack, 10/26/2019, in Clarksville, GA.
In the desert you have got to stay hydrated and shoot for Palm Springs Life Magazine.
Last nights connecting flight to Palm Springs CA (PSP) was missed on account of our delayed earlier flight out of the Southeast (ATL) and then the weather in Denver (DEN). A mad sprint from one end of the Denver concourse to the other was a failure. We were slush-shuttled to the Crowne Plaza Denver Convention Ctr. Dinner- drinks- and overnight with an early call and an 9:30am departure.
The above shot is what we found waiting for us at the airport in the morning. Touch and go till we got off the ground.
Did we mention the flight change and concourse dash in Phoenix (PHX)? No?
Air travel: what’s love got to do with it?
Well the wedding was beautiful so there’s that!

The end of a long, beautiful day of food, friends new and old, dolphins, seals, and finally sunset. Cheers and birthday huzzahs to Carol C.
Well we are here to report it’s true.
We are shooting food and drinks (and the occasional waiter/bartender) for Palm Springs Life magazine.
And we couldn’t be happier.
Heading to Idyllwild- in the San Jacinto Mountains- elevation 5,413 feet.
The scenes here in the desert are astonishing- breathtaking- every day.
From our patio in Canyon View Estates, over coffee in the early morning (before the heat cranks up), in the afternoon as the sun sets, and as the moon rises and illuminates the San Jacinto Mountains, we are treated to dazzling displays of light and shadow. It is heart-stopping beautiful.
This image was shot on our new Nikon D850 with the 28.0mm lens at f/2.5 - 09/16/2019 at 06:58:43pm

… when during our first dinner party in our new place with dear old friends and new, the ground shook a 7.something and then shook some more.
Over the course of the following days, the seismic activity has been like a “welcome home” to us.
Crazy. We know.
And it’s good to be home.

Palm Springs, CA.
‘Nuff said.
After 14 years in Atlanta we have sold the house and are heading West and back to California. Our work done in the Southeast, we felt the need to challenge ourselves and decided to start the next chapter in Palm Springs. We will continue to pursue photography and short film subjects as well as other creative endeavors.
Stay tuned….

Deep- evocative- mysterious-
Designer/photo stylist/artist/producer Anna Forkum wanted to play the deep shadows in this photo shoot of her Nashville, Tennessee home.
We wanted to explore the dark side also.
She was quite pleased with the outcome- as were we.
